Doctor of Chiropractic
Todd Dent
DC
Dr. Todd Dent's approach to chiropractic care is built around a simple idea: living longer matters most when you can continue moving, working, training, and doing the things you love. With more than 15 years of experience in chiropractic, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and movement, Todd focuses on helping patients preserve the physical capability that makes those years meaningful.
Todd earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree along with bachelor's degrees in Anatomy and Public Health & Wellness from Parker University. His clinical training included an internship at the Dallas VA Medical Center, an experience that helped shape his interest in treating the whole person rather than simply chasing symptoms.
Over the course of his career, Todd has owned and operated chiropractic and sports medicine practices in both Texas and North Carolina, working with patients ranging from competitive athletes to people simply trying to move comfortably and remain active as they age.
His approach combines chiropractic care, manual therapy, rehabilitation, mobility, strength, and functional movement. Rather than focusing exclusively on where a patient hurts, Todd looks at how the entire body moves and adapts. He believes that many of the physical limitations associated with aging can be influenced by maintaining joint motion, strength, balance, coordination, and confidence in movement.
Todd is also a continuing education instructor who teaches healthcare professionals about rehabilitation, movement, neuromotor training, and strategies for restoring human movement. His work has increasingly focused on how movement can be used not only to recover from injury, but to build resilience and preserve function throughout life.
At Carolina Longevity, Todd works alongside the medical and physical therapy teams to help patients translate better health into better physical function. His goal is straightforward: help people remain strong, mobile, independent, and capable for as long as possible.
A U.S. Army veteran and lifelong believer in staying physically engaged, Todd brings the same philosophy to his own life that he brings to his patients—keep moving, keep adapting, and never voluntarily surrender the things your body is still capable of doing.
